ACT-848 Digital Four-Channel True Diversity Broadband Receiver
MIPRO’s new digital wireless systems of the ACT-800 series have an excellent sound quality that can be matched with any wired microphone. With up to 216 pre-programmed channels plus 16 freely programmable channels, the receivers ACT-818 and ACT-828 with 64 MHz bandwidth ensure optimum flexibility even for larger setups. The digital signal means that the audio quality of the system is independent of the transmission distance and the transmission power. The digitization (24-bit / 44.1kHz) is higher than that of a CD. A digital 256-bit key ensures tap-proof radio transmission. Via the digital SPDIF output, the signal can be transmitted without loss over long distances using a cable (e.g. to a digital mixer). The handheld transmitter is equipped with a real condenser head as standard, that delivers an exceptionally clear and precise sound. Thanks to the innovative interchangeable head system, it can be exchanged quickly and easily with a dynamic head. All in all, the ACT-800 series offers crystal clear sound for the highest demands at an affordable price.
TA-80 Professional Digital XLR Plug-on Transmitter
The TA-80 is a small digital transmitter that can be plugged directly into all microphones with an XLR connector and operated. Both dynamic and condenser microphones can be used. The transmitter has an integrated phantom power that can be switched in steps of 5.12 and 48 V and supplies a supply current of up to 10 mA. When using dynamic microphones, phantom power can be switched off. The various parameters of the transmitter can be set and displayed via the integrated LCD display and the function keys. The plug-on transmitter is compatible with the receivers of the digital wireless system ACT -800 and is housed in a particularly light but robust aluminum housing. Power is supplied by a high quality, exchangeable Li-ion battery type ICR 18500 which was developed especially for professional applications. Charging takes place either directly in the transmitter by plugging the transmitter into the optionally available MP-80 charger or by removing the battery and charging it externally. It is therefore possible to always provide a charged replacement battery and to extend the service life of the transmitter as required by quickly changing it. With a fully charged battery, the operating time is up to 12 hours.
