Professional active antenna signal distributor with automatic signal loss compensation
The active UHF antenna signal distributor AD-708 covers a frequency range from 470 MHz to 850 MHz and is intended for the operation of up to five UHF diversity receivers on only two antennas. In contrast to the AD-707a, the AD-708 calculates the signal loss in the cable and regulates the gain level of the MPB-30 antenna signal amplifier accordingly to compensate for the loss. This not only simplifies installation, but also increases reception security. The total gain from the antenna input to each output is about a factor of 1, so there are no level losses as in passive splitters. For diversity operation, the AD-708 offers two antenna inputs, which are each divided into four outputs. Operation is possible both with directly connected antennas and with remote models. In addition to the four split antenna outputs, a looped connection is available, to which further splitters or a fifth receiver can be connected for more complex installations. Both inputs provide a supply voltage for active antennas or boosters.
