Description
DiGiCo SD11B : Bigger on the inside….
Bringing the firepower of seventh generation FPGA technology to the world’s most challenging and fast-paced broadcast environments, the SD11B packs unprecedented processing firepower into a 19-inch rack mount or table top format.
Small enough to carry on the road or squeeze into the tightest of studio environments, the SD11B is as remarkable for its full feature set as it is for its diminutive footprint. With its steel chassis and polycarbonate-overlaid aluminium worksurface enveloping the trademark 15-inch TFT LCD touch screen and 12 touch-sensitive moving faders, the SD11B is the very epitome of strength and flexibility.
Under The Hood
The SD11B boasts 80 Channels at 48kHz or 96kHz, with the ability to create multi channels for 5.1 or more complex input configurations. Standard channel processing across both inputs and outputs includes Channel Delay, Single and Multi-Channel Presets, Hi- and Lo-pass filters @ 24dB/octave, six-band parametric EQ with band curve selection, Dual insert points, DiGiCo’s DYN 1 (Compressor, De-esser or Multi Band Compressor) and DYN 2 (Gate, Compressor or Ducker).
The console also benefits from 118 powerful assignable Dynamic EQ processors, working on each of the four standard parametric bands, plus there are also 118 Multiband Compressors and 118 DiGiTubes; regardless of how the console is set up, you won’t lose any resources as all channels deliver the same pristine signal path and feature set.
The master section incorporates 12 gangable 32 band graphic EQs, 8 stereo effects, and eight control groups (VCAs); using snapshots, you can switch between complete configurations in any live environment easier than ever before, be it at rehearsals, during system setup, or even mid-show.
The console’s 24 busses are assignable as mono/stereo groups or auxiliaries, and a 12×8 output matrix, dual solo busses for PFL and on-air soloing in mono, stereo LCRS and 5.1; and an LR/LCR/LCRS/5.1 Master buss are available for even deeper configurability. Unlike all other digital console manufacturers, you don’t lose Aux or Group Busses when using the Matrix as they are in addition, including the Master buss.
I/O
The SD11B sports a mighty local I/O section, including 16 mic/line inputs, eight line outs, two mono AES/EBU, one MADI port, and one dedicated D-Rack port. The console connects seamlessly with the DiGiCo 32 input, 8-output (expandable to 16) remote I/O D-Rack, while a factory-fit Optocore option connects to all DiGiCo racks and consoles in a redundant loop.
Get instant access to 32 fully integrated low-latency Waves stereo MultiRacks, each with up to eight plug-ins per rack, by fitting the optional DiGiCo SoundGrid module linked to external SoundGrid or DiGiGrid servers, giving a total of 128 additional I/O.
